Analyse · The NutriGPT study

A nutrigenetic study designed for your practice

48 wellness genetic variants across eight areas of nutrition and habits, analysed in our laboratory in Spain from a saliva sample. We do not send you a closed report: you receive the data file and a guide to interpret it with your own judgement.

What it is and what it is not

A wellness study to personalise food and habits

✓ Includes

  • How you make use of folate, vitamin B12, vitamin D, omega-3 and other nutrients
  • Your response to dietary fats and carbohydrates, and meal timing
  • Appetite and satiety; caffeine metabolism; taste preferences
  • Anti-inflammatory pattern and antioxidant defence; salt and potassium
  • The kind of exercise you adapt to best, tendon care and chronotype

✕ Does not include

  • Disease risk
  • Food intolerances
  • Hereditary diseases
  • Response to medicines

For those there are medical tests, which a doctor must order. NutriGPT is not a genetic test with a medical purpose.

The eight areas

48 variants, each with a practical translation into food or habits

The associations come from population studies and are probabilistic: they guide, they do not determine.

12

Vitamins and minerals

Folate, B12, vitamin D, omega-3, vitamin A, magnesium, biotin and selenium: which food sources to prioritise.

6

Response to dietary fats

The type and proportion of fats that best fit the profile.

4

Carbohydrates and meal timing

Type of carbohydrate and time of day to have it.

6

Appetite and satiety

Satiety strategies, protein distribution and the role of physical activity.

4

Coffee and preferences

Caffeine metabolism and perception of bitterness and fat.

7

Inflammation and antioxidants

Anti-inflammatory pattern, cruciferous vegetables, polyphenols and omega-3.

1

Salt and potassium

Moderating salt and potassium-rich foods.

8

Exercise and rest

Type of training, tendon and ligament care, and chronotype.

How it works in the practice

Six steps, and the file always under a code, never a name

  1. Agreement and order

You sign the service agreement, including the data-processing agreement, and place the order with the order form.

  2. Kits at your practice

Buccal-swab kits are delivered straight to your practice; they are stable at room temperature.

  3. Information and consent

You give your client the information sheet and collect their signed consent. You keep it: it never reaches us.

  4. Sample collection

Five minutes, no blood. The tube carries only the kit code.

  5. Batch dispatch

You send samples in batches with the dispatch sheet, which carries codes only.

  6. File and interpretation

You receive each client’s file through a secure channel and interpret it with the Panel Guide, your judgement and, if your client agrees, your AI assistant.

What you receive

The file, the guide and an interpretation-support kit

Genotype file, one per client: a CSV with the 48 variants, identified only by the sample code; for each variant, the area, gene, rsID, genotype and the number of copies of the reference allele, already calculated so the reading is always correct.

NutriGPT-W Panel Guide: for each variant, what it guides, how to read it by number of copies, the practical guidance and what must never be said.

Interpretation-support kit: instructions, set-up, ten prompts for the consultation and a checklist, to use with your AI assistant if your client agrees. Later, DNAGPT, CESGEN’s decision-support system for the professional. How it supports you →

Our laboratory

Analysed in our laboratory in Spain

CESGEN genotypes samples in its own laboratory with TaqMan® technology, identifies each sample only by its code, destroys the sample and any leftover DNA after analysis and deletes its copy of the file after delivery, within the timescales of the agreement. Genetic data is a special category of data (GDPR, art. 9): you are the controller of your clients’ data and CESGEN acts as processor.

More about the laboratory

Frequently asked questions

Do I receive a report?

No. You receive the data file of the 48 variants and the Panel Guide to interpret it. With the support kit you can obtain, in minutes, a summary by area and materials for your client.

Do I need to use artificial intelligence?

No. The Guide lets you interpret the file by hand. An assistant’s support is optional, and only to be used if the client has agreed.

Does it detect intolerances or disease risk?

No. NutriGPT does not analyse intolerances, disease risk or response to medicines.

Who can have it done?

Adults, through their dietitian or another health professional.

What happens to the sample?

It is identified only by a code and destroyed after analysis.
