The NutriGPT study

What this study is and what it is not

NutriGPT is a wellness nutrigenetic study. It analyses common genetic variants related to how you make use of certain nutrients, how you respond to the composition of your diet and to exercise, and some preferences and habits. Its only purpose is to help personalise food and lifestyle recommendations in healthy adults.

It is not a genetic test with a medical purpose. It does not analyse or report on the risk of, or predisposition to, diseases, on food intolerances or on response to medicines. It cannot be used to diagnose, prevent, monitor or treat any disease, and it does not replace consultation with a health professional or any medical test.

The gene–nutrient associations described come from population studies and are probabilistic: your diet, your activity and your environment matter as much as or more than your genes.

The eight areas

What each area guides, in the language of food and habits.

12

Vitamins and minerals

Folate, B12, vitamin D, omega-3, vitamin A, magnesium, biotin and selenium: which food sources to prioritise.

6

Response to dietary fats

The type and proportion of fats that best fit the profile.

4

Carbohydrates and meal timing

Type of carbohydrate and time of day to have it.

6

Appetite and satiety

Satiety strategies, protein distribution and the role of physical activity.

4

Coffee and preferences

Caffeine metabolism and perception of bitterness and fat.

7

1

Salt and potassium

Moderating salt and potassium-rich foods.

8

Exercise and rest

Type of training, tendon and ligament care, and chronotype.

The list of the 48 variants (gene, rsID and what each guides) is part of the NutriGPT-W Panel Guide, which ecosystem professionals receive together with the study. Join the ecosystem →
