Where and how
CESGEN analyses NutriGPT samples in its own laboratory in Spain, with TaqMan® genotyping technology and its own technical staff.
The sample
It arrives identified only by its code. After analysis, the sample and any leftover DNA are destroyed. CESGEN’s copy of the file is deleted after delivery, within the timescales of the agreement.
Data quality
Every batch passes quality control before delivery: panel variants, allele orientation and call rate per sample. Variants without a reliable reading are marked “no data” and are not interpreted.
Data protection
Genetic data: special category (GDPR, art. 9). You, controller; CESGEN, processor. Nothing is sent by email.
NutriGPT is a wellness nutrigenetic study. It is not a diagnostic test and does not analyse disease risk or response to medicines. It does not replace consultation with a health professional.
